Such a beautiful area and such a poorly run marina. We came in at 2 pm with reservations, had dificulty reaching anyone by phone or radio. Finally some kid responded who clearly had no idea whjat he was doing. We finally grabbed mooring 32 and stayed there. We tried all day to see if the restaurant was open to no avail, so we ate on the boat. The next day we learned that the restaurant was up and running the previous night!
No one ever told us there were showers, ice, or an operatiing restroom.
We went out to Back Eddy's for dinner and upon our return, no one told us they lock the gates at night so we had no way to get to our dinghy. Fortunately, a woman was just leaving and she unlocked the gate. Overall, a disappointing stay. We would have loved to have eaten there but no one answered the phone. Would have loved to have taken a nice hot shower, but no one told us they had showers. Poorly run and very disappointed. We will not return.
