Report Review

Access: deep-water service docks are at north end of marina, but don't enter abutting Dutchman's Cove Marina in error!, service docks are fixed at 2 levels, service slips are narrow and a challenge with all westerly winds, slips can accomodate all drafts but a maximum length of about 45 feet by 16 feet: bigger vessels can use a floating dock adjacent to the slips, must manouevre in a confined area to turn boat to exit the basin Staff: permanent adult staff are accommodating, prompt, competent, careful; seasonal dock attendants are courteous but in the past not so well trained as a fastidious boat owner would want: new marina manager is correcting this matter as of 2009 Facilities: diesel and gasoline, municipal water, pumpout, full-service marina capable of all boat-related work with necessary haulout equipment, new wave attenuation program is in its second year, grounds well-kept but many docks need extensive redecking, excellent new 'parallel-parking' docks for large transient vessels with water and hydro, fair chandlery, good wireless internet,on-site dining room of good quality, basic fitness room, small laundry room, very good connections to Toronto International Airport Note: rates might be considered high
