Echo Bay Resort and Marina

Pierre’s at Echo Bay Lodge & Marina was widely known as THE premier destination marina in the Broughton Islands. The ownership changed in June, 2020. It was sold and is now owned and operated by the Kwiḵwa̱sut’inux̱w Haxwa’mis First Nation (KHFN) tribe. We visited the marina in May, 2022 along with 2 other boats. What we saw was not pretty. The marina seemed "rundown" and had only one person working there as a temporary worker. The docks showed real signs of decay and the electical pedestals had visible signs of burned out AC recepticals. The AC power was rejected by our Victron charger device. The water supply showed clear signs of mud. We left the next morning and would not recommend this marina until their is real management there and they have repaired the docks, electrical and water quality supply systems. The good news is, after I emailed them feedback, I got a very polite response from the new incoming Gen'l Manager. He sounded hopeful that they would soon be addressing the issues we encountered.
