BOWTHRUSTER INSTALLATION
We added a Sidepower Bowthruster to this 48' Hatteras LRC. All the electrical work, fiberglass work and interior carpentry needs are handled right here at Mystic River Marina.
GAS-TO-DIESEL REPOWER
We installed Cummins Diamond Series engines in this 38' Carver. We removed the original Crusader gas engines and completely retrofitted this boat with diesel engines and an Onan generator. Our service manager handles the re-engineering for the new shafts and propellers.
We also replaced the holding tank and re-ran plumbing while there was access in the engine room.
GENERATOR INSTALLATION
This Onan diesel generator completes the gas-to-diesel power replacement for a 38' Carver. Relocation of filters is sometimes required when installing new equipment. We pay close attention to the owner-friendly functions you deserve!
You won't need to be a contorsionist to change a filter or check fluid levels when WE finish your installation!
ENGINE FACELIFT
We pulled these Detroit Diesels out of a Viking, cleaned and repainted them, and reinstalled them in the boat. Your engines may RUN great, but need some TLC to protect them from the corrosive effects of saltwater. This is also the perfect time to clean and paint your bilges!

ENGINE ROOM FRESH AND NEW
We repainted the engine room while the Detroit Diesels were out of this Viking.
It's the perfect time to clean out all the oil, grease, rust, dirt and mold that finds a home in your bilge. A thorough cleaning will make it easier to keep up with in the future and the proper bilge paint won't absorb oil, etc.
A TRUCK IN THE SALON?
One of our fork trucks is lowering the engines back into this Viking after we cleaned and repainted them and the bilge. It takes some extremely careful manuevering to get in and out of the salon doors or windows, especially when hoisting a 1000+ pound engine. But we do this work all of the time and we've perfected it!
NEW CUMMINS INSTALLATION
This 34' Hatteras got refitted with Cummins diesel engines. We fabricated a complete new exhaust system and replaced all hoses, strainers, etc. We built new floor joists as well.
SOUND INSULATION
Is it too loud to ride inside your salon? We added sound deadening insulation panels to the floor boards in this 34' Hatteras. Custom fitted to new floor decking, they're a nice, neat fit.
CARPENTRY UPDATE
The owner of this 34' Hatteras wanted an updated look in his salon, but kept the authentic teak appearance. Bulkheads, flooring and overhead were all custom fitted by our expert cabinetry shop.
SEALAND TOILET SYSTEM EXPERTS
Our service department maintains several Sealand-certified technicans. While many boat styles have space for the necessary components of a fresh water head system, not all do.
This vintage Bertram does not have much extra space! So we installed the vacuum generator instead of separate vacuum tank and power unit.
Now the owner has a fresh water toilet system in a minimum of space!

Cummins, Crusader, Onan to name a few! Our service department has many qualifications including Sealand head systems, and Mathers MicroCommander electronic controls. We repair most engine types from inboards to stern drives to outboards. We specialize in underwater hardware: shafts, struts, rudders, propellers removed, repaired, replaced quickly!
Gas to diesel repowers are a specialty. We can overhaul or repower both gas and diesel.
We know fuel systems and ethanol issues. We can diagnose, repair and help prevent the damage that water intrusion can cause. Fuel tank replacement is a specialty.
Mechanical, electrical, electronic: we know it! And we're here all year round!
Fiberglass/Paint
Our fiberglass and paint repair division is second to none! Whether you have Imron, Awlgrip, or gelcoat, our paint technicians are experts. No job too big or too small.
We are also an Interlux Yacht Repair certified facility. We repair blistered bottoms!

Dockage/Storage
We have 165 slips and can accommodate vessels up to 150 ft. Most of our stationary slips have finger piers and ladders, which is all that is needed with less than a 2 foot tidal range. Our floating dock serves boats up to 30 ft.
We have power at every slip, from 30 amps to 100 amps at the largest slips. All dockage includes cable tv, water, and wireless internet as well as use of the swimming pool and our many other amenities.
Our dockage season is May 1 through Nov. 1. Winter storage runs from Nov. 1 through May 1 and includes hauling, pressure washing the bottom, blocking, poppets, storage and spring launch.
We offer a year round SAVINGS PLAN which begins with winter storage. Store your boat with us for the winter, dock here the following season, and provided all bills are paid within their terms, we deduct 10% from your dockage bill!
