Site of Historic Tolchester Beach
In the late 1800's excursion steamers from Baltimore brought passengers to Tolchester Beach to enjoy the amusement park and wide stretch of sand which provided welcome respite from the un- airconditioned city. It closed in 1962.Now offering a protected harbor right on the Eastern Shore of Chesapeake Bay conveniently close to the entrance of the C&D Canal, Tolchester Marina offers expert full service as well as covered slips in a peaceful country setting.
