I moved my 30' sailboat here 8 years ago and my other one about 4 years ago. Before moving the sailboat here I looked at 22 different marinas in this area (Annapolis/Mayo/Galesville/Shadyside/etc), and this one was one of the best. Unfortunately it's been on a steady decline in the past two years or so. It's gone from a friendly, welcoming atmosphere to one where they remove the chairs from the common area gazebo because boat owners were socializing there. It's a shadow of the marina it used to be and it's truly a shame because it was really a wonderful marina 8 years ago.
