Extremely friendly staff from fuel dock to marina office. Wish the docks were floating, they are quite high for on/off our boat. Aquila 44 cat. Pool area is very nice, 7 mile bridge a great short bike ride away
Had to delay a day due to weather. All worked out great though as Libby was very accommodating. Chris helped nicely with our lines. Good location, nice river walk. Just wish the weather had cooperated more.
While the marina staff were AWESOME… the marina is dated and we had issues with reliable shore power and thus had to run our generator all night. We had planned to stay 3 nights but cut it short and just stayed the one. (We were told that a major upgrade is planned to begin in 2024 so stay tuned). That would cause us to return. The location is right across the street from Clearwater Beach and that is a big plus!
Quite night,low winds. The marina hands were busy on the holiday, took a little time to get them on the radio for ball assignment.
We arrived right after 5 so the office was closed, called ahead to get our slip assignment. Upon arrival we discovered the slip was not wide enough for our beam, called the emergency number and got the slip next to it. We were put on the "A" dock, no security, no pump out, homeless sleeping in the park right behind us and a 8-10 minute walk to the dock office. The "A" dock is all boat club boats. After hearing all good things about Marina Jacks, will not go back if put on the same dock.
