Nice Marina, nice restaurant. (WiFi not so good !)

Staff was great! Everything was very clean

Very nice stay, we had a beautiful fireworks show while we were there. Can't comment on internet as I used my own, but there were no issues with water and electric. Staff and other guests were super friendly, and I was glad to learn that guests of the marina get a 10c per gallon discount at the fuel dock. I will be back!!

Dockwa makes the reservation process easy and seamless. Prompt response and good communication. Twin Dolphin staff always helpful. Easy in and easy out. Great access to downtown and there are some good bars and restaurants within a few blocks walking distance. The Pier22 outdoor bar should be back open in August. The WiFi -- at least on D Dock is spotty and weak. I hope that is upgraded at some point; it is the only negative of the entire place. Good cell service, so it was not a big deal, but is a negative. All in all a great place to stay.

They assigned us a slip that was almost impossible for us to get to. Their seawall is so close to their T-head docks that my length of 52 ft and width of 26 ft made it impossible for me to turn into the fairway of my assigned dock because of a large commercial vessel docked on the T. With the wind blowing at 10 kts down the fairway I was blown into the seawall. In order to save my boat I was forced to dive into the water with a line and attach it to an upwind dock. Once aboard I used this line as a spring and slowly pivoted into the fairway without contacting any other vessels. Really awful planning by the dockmaster… 😡

We have stayed here many times in the past and always enjoyed ourselves. Previously we’ve always been on A dock. On our last stay we were assigned a slip on B dock. We draw 7’ and I enquired if there was sufficient depth. Assured there was we docked. On the morning of departure we woke up to find ourselves HARD aground. Not only did the office staff seem unmoved by our predicament they threatened to charge us a late check out (we were physically unable to move). This past holiday weekend several friends wanted to go, so we booked again. Both of their boats (who draw 5 and 6 feet) were assigned A dock. I was assigned C. When I asked I was told they were entirely full and it was not possible to move. On the morning of arrival we received a curt message that if we dared show up before 1300 check in we would be charged a $50 fee. We knew the check in time, this wasn’t a welcoming start. Also the morning of we were moved to B dock. Both nights of our stay there were empty slips on A dock right next to our friends, and both nights we found ourselves hard aground. The staff and the amenities just aren’t worth the premium pricing. They generally have excellent clean bathrooms and that was still the case, except for the pool house men’s room which was covered in vomit. We’ve never once been met at the dock for help docking and we just don’t receive the service expected at this top end pricing. We will be going elsewhere in the future.

May 2024 Update: Not the best Memorial Day Weekend trip. We've been to the marina a couple of times in the past and had a decent experience. This time, the marina sent an unprompted note the day before to remind us that if we showed up before 1300, we would be charged $50. The tone of the note just struck me as off. I understand that checkin is 1300. It always has been. It's annoying that the marina has decided that trying to grab an extra $50 on top of premium holiday dockage rates is more important than good customer service. Of course, when we arrived, the slip was open and we docked without incident. From prior visits, we knew better than to expect a hand docking. Our companion boat asked to be docked near us due to their draft, and was told the marina was full. The slip next to me, which would have accommodated our companion vessel easily, ended up being used by an outboard runabout. The marina could have easily swapped those boats, but didn't bother. My friend's boat ended up hard aground for a couple of hours each day during our stay. No need for that if the marina had bothered to help. Some of the other guests enjoyed themselves too much in the pool area and we arrived at the pool on Sunday night to vomit in the bathroom and mess on the pool deck. Twin Dolphin seems to be attracting a more trashy element the last few times we've been. We'll probably look for other options the next time we do a staycation or a cruising club event in the Tampa Bay area. If Twin Dolphin's premium dockage rate came with premium service, it would be different. Unfortunately, it's just not worth the level of service provided. Original Review: Excellent spot on the Manatee River. We enjoy it for the nice pool, clean and well organized shower/bathroom area, and the proximity to off property amenities. We walked to the Saturday market and a nearby brewery. On the downside, the last two times we've stayed here we've had occasional problems with strong sewage odors coming from the marina office building. Not a deal killer, but a persistent problem.

Had to delay a day due to weather. All worked out great though as Libby was very accommodating. Chris helped nicely with our lines. Good location, nice river walk. Just wish the weather had cooperated more.

Close to town with restaurants and museum

For the price of a five-star hotel, you expect WIFI to work well in both the marina and the lounge room which was not the case. And if you ask reception staff to check the WIFI, you expect that they know where their WIFI system is located and how to maintain it. A nice "I do not know, sorry" is not sufficient but a sign that management is not training their employees appropriately.

We stayed 2 nights with 4 grandchildren and LOVED the bathrooms…beautiful & sparkling clean! Additionally, husband lost his glasses in water & unfortunately not a drug store within walking distance, but one of the ladies in the office let him borrow a pair until we checked out…love Southern Hospitality! Will be back!

Wi Fi much improved from our visit a year ago. However pool area not very clean: overflowing trash bins at pool and tables needed wiped down. Ice cream parlor very dirty both inside and out.

The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Karen was especially helpful. There are good restaurants close. The marina is well maintained and well protected. The individual bathroom and shower rooms are recently updated, well maintained, and private. We enjoyed our stay and will return the next time we are in the Bradenton area.

Love this marina! Place was immaculate from the main office, bathrooms, pool and dock area. Great location within short walking distance to DT Bradenton and some great restaurants and bars.

This marina is in an ideal location in downtown Bradenton and within walking distance to great hotels, restaurants, and shops. The staff members are helpful and courteous, and all the amenities are updated. Well protected with large fuel dockage and easy access in and out. The marina mostly caters to larger vessels, but I truly appreciate them finding room for our boat (Pursuit 235 DC) over the Memorial Day Weekend. This was our third stay and we're looking forward to returning soon.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Twin Dolphin Marina! It’s a beautiful marina with friendly staff and clean amenities. The pool was GREAT.

New docks very nice, however had slip on ramp connecting floating dock to access gate. Reported incident to marina manager, but was not contacted about my condition or corrective action. WiFi had weak signal at A-39 dock. Could not find recycle containers. Given gate code for dock access, however numbers were worn off entry keypad. Great individual head/showers. Dock staff very friendly and helpful. Good meal at Pier 22 restaurant.

This is an easy access marina. Docks are in great shape and in a secure gated location. I loved the area too. It was clean and lots of restaurants to walk too if you want to get out and explore.

The marina, docks and facilities are top notch. One unusual thing to report is that they closed early on Christmas Eve and didn’t bother to alert us. With the help of friendly boaters we just picked our own slip.

We stayed here a few years ago before the marina was remodeled. Great location. Easy walk to downtown and restaurants. New marina has nice floating docks. Facilities are the same as before, pool and bathrooms. Bathrooms maybe upgraded a bit. WiFi has been replaced with wired Ethernet at each power pedestal. Great if you have Ethernet cable and router or other to plug it into. (We didn’t).

Staff was helpful at the dock upon arrival and with a pumpout later. Access to the Riverwalk and downtown restaurants and pubs was great. The marina and city are quite dog-friendly.

Docking was easy with help from Andrew. Staff very friendly. Corwins ice cream shop in the marina. Stayed in the pool all weekend due to windy conditions. Love the floating docks.

The Twin Dolphin Marina is very nice. The facilities are clean and easily accessible and direct access to downtown Bradenton is a plus. Most of all the staff is very courteous and helpful. They were quick to answer on the radio when calling in and provided excellent assistance catching us on the dock. Highly recommend!

Couldn't say enough above the facilities and especially the staff. We encountered engine issues on the way,and being fifty miles from our home port..I was lost as to who I could get to come to the marina and diagnose and repair the problem. So,up to the marina office I went to see if they could be of assistance..within two seconds after explaining our dilemma, Sean (hope that's the correct spelling) went over to the wall and pulled out a card and said this is the guy you want to call..he can fix you up. I called,and within an hour and a half the technician was there and diagnosed the issue,and proceed with the repair. If Sean had not taken the initiative, it would not of had the happy ending that it did. Now,about the marina facilities. All new floating fingers with shore power and fresh water. Very wide and accomodating,lots of light with great Security. Swimming pool,freshly rehabbed shower rooms, tv,computer,reading room.All very well done. Conveniently located right next to the River Walk,which is a great stroll along the river. Lots of places to see and eat. So..after reading this would you think I would HIGHLY recommend this place..FIVE STARS doesn't do it justice!!

Trans slips were right by the highway so it was Loud. WiFi only worked at pool. No ice bin for boaters. Instead Ice was $2 A bag when the office was open. Pump out service not offered on Sunday. Kind of expensive for the opportunities listed above.

Marina was nice although the slip numbers could be posted on the waterside for new patrons that aren't told where their slip is located. The annuals made this trip the best! Great people! Had a blast will be back.

Nice place showers need a bit of work

Marina is under construction. Water was shut off. No mention of either until we were tied up at the slip.

Really a very nice place to spend a week. Beautiful secure floating docks, friendly knowledgeable dock staff, new pool, spotless independent restroom/showers (6) in a very nice and friendly town. The town has a beautiful 1.5 mile river walk. Two of our favorite restaurants are O’Bricks on Main and Sage Brisket off 14th. Even on a -1’ minus tide we had 10’ of water all the way to the Marina, including the Marina Docks. 5 Star.

With the new floating docks and the upgraded facilities this marina is by far the nicest in the area. The service is great, the amenities are excellent and the location can't be beat. We have lived aboard at Twin Dolphin Marina for 10 years and would highly recommend it to anyone. The River Walk and downtown area are an added bonus!

Easy check-in. Two gentlemen greeted us at our assigned slip, fastened our dock lines, & connected our power cord. The laundry, showers, pool, and facilities were immaculate and close to our slip. Staff and fellow boaters were friendly. Best Regards from Aldonza.

Wow, one of the best marinas in Florida. I loved the pool and showers. Cool marina bar and lots of things to do downtown. The private bathroom was just like home. Great staff, made my wife, dog, and I feel very welcome. I would definitely stay again. Thanks guys.
