This is a beautiful, quiet, protected harbor. Mostly moorings, but they’ll make space for you on the gas dock of you need a slip. Marion village is beautiful and quaint, with a general store, gift shop, ice cream place, and a few restaurants. Beautiful, quiet area. Bathrooms at Butt brother’s were adequate. We did not see laundry but also never asked.
This marina doesn’t have alot of amenities to offer yet, but the staff is amazing and it was a safe place to tuck into during the bad weather. Very protective. There’s nothing in the area, so you’ll need a friend or a Lyft to come pick you up. There is a restroom, a shower, and laundry room on site. Friendliest crew around. Gas, pumpout, and water available on the dock but the power was out due to a recent storm.
Great crew, easy docking, pumpout available at every tie up, nice location in the heart of the action in Newport.
Firstly, this marina staff is so helpful and communicative. They’re proactive about checking in about arrival times and they were waiting at the dock to help with the lines. We were happy with our slip location, on G dock, right across from a local restaurant, The Pilot House, where we enjoyed an excellent dinner. Bathrooms were a pretty walk away with newly paved paths. Construction also seemed new. We will be back.
