Haverstraw marina is run down, and rather uncared for at this point. We were guests on a 35 foot vessel in July. Forget bringing a dog here. The docks are super hot, jagged metal, worn out with giant holes, noisy, and every dock we saw, had loose cleats everywhere, if you can find a cleat that is. Took an hour to find a staff member to find our assigned slip, and then found out the next morning that we were placed in a seasonal boater's slip. Too organized and very rocky with all the boats from the passing channel zooming by, not to mention all the giant work barges. Not returning in the spring.
