Our stay was wonderful. Adam (the head of the marina) was great. I highly recommend the facility and his treatment of guests. First class all the way. And Essex is always a special town.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice harbor to ride out a nor’easter storm.
The marina was wonderful and the museum is a must see. It was very windy (20+ knots) and the staff were amazingly helpful with dock lines etc. I enjoy the short walk into town as well. It is a little rocky at night but the floating dock is better than a mooring because of how it is sheltered immediately next to a fixed pier, at least in a typical southwesterly.
