We loved this yacht club. From the Commodore catching our lines, to the neighbor offering a ride to the grocery store, to the wonderful friendly and welcoming members, we were extremely pleased to stay here. Our only regret is we missed the Halloween Party!
The most impeccable facilities we have seen! Delightful staff. NIce restaurant. Very peaceful environment. Loved the floating docks, especially with the highest tides since Hurricane Isabel.
With a nasty cold front headed towards NJ and Delaware, we, and many others, tried to secure dockage at Chesapeake Inn and Marina. We requested a reservation on Dockwa, which went unanswered; we sent a message via Dockwa, which went unanswered; we phoned several times, which all went unanswered. Horrible and inexcusable behavior on Chesapeake Inn Marina’s part!!! If you are not accepting any more reservations, UPDATE DOCKWA so we are not left wondering where we can go for safe harbor. Truly an operation that does not care about their clientele.
