Top notch marina, professionally and courteously run. Dock hands that are quick to help with a smile. Lots of activities to enjoy here. Just don't check customs here as the agents are always jerks that enjoy hassling boaters...go to Friday Harbor.
Great marina. If you need to check customs, do it here instead of Roche. The custom agents here are always friendly and great representatives of the US. The ones at Roche would prefer to hassle you as much as possible. Everytime!
This is a nice marina that is in need of good consistant management. Last summer the outdoor grill/bar did not open at all which is one the attractions of this marina. The new docks are a much needed improvement and appreciated. There are great local hiking trails for all levels in the area and Eastsound is a quick cab ride.
This is a great little marina in Desolation Sound. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed a couple of wonderful hiking trails. After the hike enjoyed the fire pit with a bottle of wine. There are not a lot of amenities here, but hey, it is Desolation Sound. Well work the trip.
