We left our boat for an extended period for the third time in Brunswick Landing Marina and plan to return again. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The facilities are well maintained and never crowded. The live-aboard community is friendly and welcoming, also to transients. We felt comfortable leaving our boat for 6 weeks while returning home for the holidays. The docks are well secured and the other boaters keep an eye out. It is special that the marina welcomes live-aboards while more and more marinas are turning them down. Great marina!
We spent 5 months at Safe Harbor Oxford and were very impressed with the experience. All of the facilities are in good shape and well maintained. Our ship spent 4 months on the hard in the boatyard where we had quite a bit of work done. The planning and execution of all tasks was very professional and the analysis and recommendations made were experienced and helpful. The communication in the boatyard and between boatyard and marina functioned very well. All staff members were helpful and friendly and made our stay a pleasant experience. We definitely plan to return again next year!
About one of the worst services encountered in many years of sailing! We have sailed from LA to Annapolis, extensively North Sea, Baltic Sea, Atlantic and Mediterranean Sea but never encountered such high prices with such a lack of service. Well before his shift end, we had tied to the fuel dock for the night and wanted to get fuel. The dock master did not want to do it then and promised to do it at 7 am as we wanted to leave early. We waited till 7:30 am but no dock master, nobody answering the phones or VHF nor an apology from the General Manager, we spoke to. We advise everyone to stay away from this marina and we will spread the word around.
