We got fuel here and were assigned our mooring ball by the woman who gave us fuel. They were helpful, telling us about local eateries and they had a launch service that only ran until 9:00 p.m., and so we chose to use our dinghy to go to dinner in town. It was a short walk to town from this marina.
Our stay was awesome and the launch driver/check in person was very friendly. One important note: If searching for Atlantic Highlands Yacht Club on Dockwa, it does not appear, under that name, initials, or a search of the area. Strangely after the launch driver told us that they used Dockwa, I searched under "Highlands" and by chance found it??
Frank Sr. and Frank Jr. could not have been more accommodating. The bathrooms were beautiful and clean. The on site eatery for breakfast and lunch was also wonderful! Michelle, the restaurant owner, gave us many ideas for the area. Seaport Cove was not open during the time we stayed. No Maritime museum in the area at all, as stated in the cruising guide.
