Good facilities, dock hands good and helpful, but since the takeover they seem to be employing younger inexperienced people to run their office, disorganized and didn't know much. Pump out no longer offered - should be removed from the advertised services. Unfortunately a 120' power palace got docked stern-on to our cockpit and decided to run their generator all day and night so our cockpit was flooded with fumes and noise all night. Staff could have told then to dock the other way round so they didn't ruin the stay for us.
Great showers and facilities. Friendly and helpful dock hands and staff. Short walk to town on the other side of the harbor or the launch will take you over. We were on the dock face float, day-trip schooners and plenty of other boats passing by regularly keeps it interesting but don't expect privacy. It's a working boat yard too, so if you're expecting to sleep in, you might be woken by the travel lift starting up. Didn't worry us, we enjoyed watching the activities when we were on board. Very sheltered and quiet, in the inner harbor so makes for a good night's sleep.
Very friendly and helpful dock staff. Good solid dock float in about the most sheltered spot you could imagine. Walk out the gate and you're right in the middle of town. We were there on a Saturday night and got treated to the live music at a bar next door, could be a plus or minus depending on your taste.
