The RVYC is great for sailing classes or a beautiful day of sailing. You can easily take the ferry from Vancouver to Victoria (Swartz Bay) and the Yacht Club is just a short drive from the ferry landing.
The Bolivar Point Lighthouse is currently privately owned (so not available to be toured), but if you are in the area, it is still certainly worth your time to drive by to see it and take a few pictures, especially at sunrise or sunset. From Galveston, you can take the Galveston Ferry (https://galvestonferryschedule.com) to the Bolivar Peninsula, and then it is a short 4 mile drive to the lighthouse.
