Well maintained and attractive marina. Staff is friendly and helpful. Easy in and out, even with a bit of current.
Very nice marina. Cathy, the dockmaster is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The town of Beaufort is one of the prettiest in the South, with great restaurants.

Mooring balls are well placed, with plenty of swing room. Pendants are new and dockmaster goes around and places the pendant thimble back in the top of the mooring prior to the next arrival. Very helpful
Gloucester is a great town to visit and the Harbormaster crew is excellent. On this trip we visited the Cape Ann Museum. Nice collection of both art and nautical stuff. We never bothered to launch the dinghy, the free launch runs late daily. A mooring in the inner harbor provides plenty of relaxed entertainment as we watched the fishing fleet come and go.
attentive staff. Location handles weather much better than City Marina. Also less waking from passing boats.
Good mooring. Plenty of swing room for our 57' boat. Mooring #1. Marina was flexible with our changing schedule. Watching the commercial traffic was fun. Whole area is a no wake zone.
