Cove Haven is easily accessible, extremely sheltered and safe, and wonderfully run. The staff are able, personable, and helpful. The facilities (including a pool!) are top-notch. I highly recommend it.
Close moorings. Crowded dinghy dock. Steep ramps. Polite welcome though and nice shower facility.
very pleasant staff. but there being no launch service in the entire harbor was a definite negative. we only have oars for our dinghy and rowing to the village took 40 minutes in the calm after a horrendous thunderstorm. I'd hate to think how long it would have taken if there had been any wind.
pleasant launch driver showed us the mooring but we had to make 3 passes to pick it up in a strong wind. I cut my finger pulling on the pennant. The mooring at $102 was extremely overpriced, although the launch service was fine and the launch operator a very helpful tour guide.
