Horrible. 5 boats in our club could not get power!! Marina blamed our boats at first. They knew this was a lie. Staff would not admit their wiring problems. Locals all knew!!! Bad Bad Bad To hell with Poulsbo
The Poulsbo Marina's new GFCI protected shore power system is, and has always been, working exactly as it should. The new GFCI (30mA) standard is very sensitive to power leakage, which can be frustrating for some boat owners. At the time of this review, which was very soon after the dock power was upgraded, not all of the various reasons for failed connections were known. It is now known that any failed attempt to connect to a GFCI protected system is due to an issue on the boat, whether it be faulty wiring , or a timing issue with the inverter. To say that marina staff lied is not only inaccurate, it is also unfair. Marina staff has gone above the call of duty to assist boaters visiting Poulsbo.
