Claim this MarinaOne of the most popular boating destinations in Puget Sound, the Port of Poulsbo is located in the heart of downtown Poulsbo – also known as “Little Norway”. There are many restaurants to choose from, several of which offer fine dining. There are a multitude of specialty shops and galleries all within a block of the marina. With 5 micro-breweries in town, Poulsbo is sure to cater to any taste. If that is not enticing enough, Poulsbo also has one of the last remaining Marina exchanges in the PNW! Then, when you are finished touring the town, enjoyed some entertainment at several establishments offering live music, including award winning musicals at the Jewel Box Theatre. Visiting boaters will enjoy a clean, well run marina. This Washington Clean Marina facility boasts a new GFCI protected electrical system, which means that it is one of the safest marinas in Puget Sound. Want to know if your boat stands up to GFCI test? Go to Poulsbo and find out. But, be prepared to run your generator just in case. Poulsbo features several great festivals throughout the year, most of which are located in the waterfront park next to the marina. Visit for the weekend and take part in Viking Festival, 3rd of July Fireworks or the Poulsbo Arts Festival. Call for more information, you'll be glad you did!
Beautiful location on Liberty Bay. Great town with several wonderful restaurants and shops.
Very nice marina. Clean. Clean showers. Convenient to shops, restaurants and bars. Nice folks too.
Clean marina, pet friendly, pleasant staff Good restaurants near by Clean restrooms
We love Poulsbo. The office staff is always very helpful and our night is always peaceful.
Great marina, located in the heart of Poulsbo, close to restaurants and shops. The place is quiet, the facilities clean. I will go back again for sure and highly recommend.
We reserved two nights over the weekend here at this marina and experienced one of our favorite boating weekends yet! The staff was friendly and helpful. The bathrooms and showers are clean, however they require quarters, (the showers, not the bathroom). The town is a great stop on the way up to the San Juan's and has everything we didn't think to bring with us. The people of Poulsbo are some of the friendliest around too and we enjoyed our early morning conversations with some of the locals at the coffee shop.
Dock Staff as especially helpful resolving my power issue. Facilities were exceptional. Fuel dock easily accessible and fuel reasonably priced. Marina is the center of all the activities in Poulsbo. Great visit and will return in the future!
Mukilteo Yacht Club with 12 boats (power and sail) spent July 26-28 at the Poulsbo Marina. I don't have enough adjectives to describe what a wonderful time we had! Janesse, Jason, and the entire staff were so very helpful, professional and friendly. Janesse organized a "Poker Run" for our members that was so much fun. Eleven merchants participated and were all so generous and welcoming. Slippery Pig was a great place to award the poker prizes and have delicious beer and huge tasty sandwiches. The facilities are clean and really fabulous. The Party Barge (with a really nice awning/roof, the multi-purpose room, the bathrooms, the showers...really everything is 5 Star. We will be back and will recommend it as the BEST Marina in the area.
Spot taken because it was left as open even after confirmation, after calling the marina they said sorry all the other spots were reserved and hopefully another spot would open up later... We had already paid but we're not given any help finding a new spot and the marina was chaotic.
Very good. Clean docks, well maintained. Slip was open when we arrived. They gave us a welcome bag with town info, maps. The surrounding crowd was a bit noisy, with loud partying going till 11p. But we slept ok. Free potty pump out too.
We had an overnight stay at Poulsbo. We had the dock assignment ahead of time. Upon arrival everything went smoothly. The dock staff friendly and accommodating. All services worked as they were intended to work. The town is fantastic for a weekend visit -- shops and restaurants, or just a stroll around town. Also very pet friendly. Worth the visit, we'll be coming back.
They normally take great care of me there, but upon arrival my pre paid slip was occupied and unfortunately that is one of 2 slips my boat fits in and has 50 amp power. I was promised that slip. I compromised, and ran my generator for the duration of my trip.
It’s a beautiful marina. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Excellent facilities. They get a three because 1) I was a 36’ LOA in a 30’ slip. Make for an awkward means to get on and off my boat. 2). No shore power due to the high standards by which the marina operates. So I was on generator the whole weekend.
Docks are a little tired but still in acceptable condition. Staff were very helpful, Internet was spotty at times, other times great. Bathrooms and showers were clean and well mainta8ned.
Helpful staff and host. Great marina area for food and supplies.
Service was friendly, lots of staff around. We had no problems with power, though others did, which has something to do with the newer GFCI’s the marina installed.
Great little marina, always a great stay. Friendly and accommodating staff.
We had a gret stay because the staff helped us during a real time of need. We lost an engine and couldn't get into or slip. The staff came just in time to pull us in. Thank to everyone for your help. Ed and Lois on Bula Bula.
Setting is lovely. Marina well kept. Wish they had had power for our boat though.
We love staying here for the night on our way up to the San Juan's. Friendly workers and clean bathrooms. Will stay again soon!
There has been a perpetual power problem that has plagued the marina for years. There was an attempt to apparently upgrade last year but that has clearly fallen short. I am 50 amp but can split to 30 amp and after trying several power stations gave up. Neighbors came by and shared the exact same experience and candidly they were curious if i was able to figure it out and get service. The frustration is having the expectation of power as a paying marina guest. Beautiful marina and people just do not expect reliable power.
Super clean, very friendly and helpful staff. First time visit and we will be certainly be returning.
Fantastic overnight getaway from Seattle. Only two hours (on a slow boat) from Seattle. Great little town with lots of fun shops, restaurants and things to do. Fun marina with great people. Must visit if you haven’t been yet!
Great marina and perfect weekend town. Highly recommended. Jenise is super helpful and friendly, and makes making reservations a breeze.
We always have a great time in Poulsbo. However, the dock power continues to be an issue with the Port. We plugged in and we always have power, but the plug was loose, the screws were loose. We tighten them and we were fine.
I had to cancel, which I did more than 24 hours in advance. I think the credit voucher system is a total rip off. Hotels DO provide refunds if the room is cancelled up to the day before your stay. To expect boaters to keep track of a piece of paper - the credit voucher - for a year in order to get credit is unreasonable and ridiculous. You should have better customer service and provide full refunds up to a reasonable advance notice, just like all other marinas in the area. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
Poulsbo Marina is a great, low key get away. The Scandivanian town has great shops and restaurants. Good bakery and coffee shops. If you need marine supplies the marine store is good. Staff are friendly and helpful. The cons: wifi is terrible and the washroom facilities are pretty basic. Take your flip flops into the shower.
Horrible. 5 boats in our club could not get power!! Marina blamed our boats at first. They knew this was a lie. Staff would not admit their wiring problems. Locals all knew!!! Bad Bad Bad To hell with Poulsbo
Great destination but don't make reservations on-line or pay for moorage in advance. A friend had engine problems on the way in and the Port refused to refund or rain check them. Unfriendly staff, unorganized and doesn't understand boaters needs.
They need to be better about putting sailboats on F dock when there are minus tides. No fun seeing sailboats listing. We were also in mud. Not much help with docking like other marinas. We helped 12 + boats tie up in the wind.
It was a very busy weekend with the Viking Festival . We were assigned a slip with another boat that had a pretty wide beam as well. We were within inches at the most and the way I had to bring my boat forward to avoid scraping on the stern caused by bow edge to rub on the dock as well. I would recommend talking with the marina about the width of your boat in advance
