Nice facilities and clean bathrooms, but no one was available to receive us at 5pm on a Saturday afternoon. We picked a slip at random and then realized we’d need a key card to get in and out of the marina to go out to eat. Nobody returned out hail on VHF 9, nobody answered the Office number, and nobody answered the emergency number given by the Office outgoing message. Fortunately the marina was busy and friendly regulars let us in and out, but we felt cramped by the lack of spontaneity to wander about without getting locked out of the boatyard.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Since you booked online, we didn't realize that you wouldn't contact us before coming in. Hence we couldn't give you the slip assignment, instructions on where to get your info packet and card key, plus our hours of operation. We apologize for your discomfort. We are now implementing a routine of contacting the transients that don't contact us to make sure they know all the things that would have made your stay better.
