Guest moorage is on the outside of the seawall. South wind blowing and due to rough water was not able to moor. My boat would have been smashed to pieces in short order. I do not recommend this facility for small boat moorage. My boat is 18 feet.
Hi rmrauscher. You are correct, our guest moorage is on the outside breakwater. Typically during the Summer season we don't see the storms and it's not an issue. Because of the location, we have great success with smaller boats using the proper fenders and mooring techniques. We'd be happy to advise before your stay here, what works best, and even help you tie up.
Our breakwater is a fun place to spend a weekend, and there's no better place for the fireworks on the 4th of July.
