We spent three nights on the B dock. The dock staff and pool attendant were all rather disinterested. The showers were clean but the pool had a lot of sand in it. The courtesy shuttle into town was nice since there is not much in the immediate area but the van was a no show for pickup so we walked back. We have stayed many times over the years at this marina and it used to be one of my favorites. Unfortunately, it no longer is. It seems to go down a little each year and it isn't as friendly as it used to be.
We stayed for five nights and enjoyed the property, pool and lawn games. The staff was friendly and helpful and everything was clean. The new restaurant, Siren, was very good and we loved the custard they have. Wish they were open for breakfast. We did have issues with inconsiderate transient boaters who were loud and swore constantly in their loud conversations. Also, plumbing issues closed one set of heads and showers. In the far ones, there were also issues with them being plugged or having no TP. 😟 Still, we love this place but, in the future, I think we'll avoid crowded weekends. As a side note, they should consider touchless garbage cans in the heads.
The marina was clean and we had a nice slip on C dock for two nights. A lawn area for games like cornhole would be nice.
