The marina was clean and we had a nice slip on A dock for three nights. There were no dinghy racks and unfortunately someone kicked our kayak paddle off the dock or stole it. Improvements to the top of the docks are nice. A lawn for games like cornhole would be nice and a walk area for dogs should be considered. One big turnoff was seeing a customer dump the contents of his porti-potty into the toilet in the men's bathroom. He dripped the contents and the stench was overwhelming.
We spent two nights on the B dock. Head, showers and pool were clean. The courtesy shuttle into town is nice since there is not much in the immediate area. We have stayed many times over the years at this marina and it used to be one of my favorites. Unfortunately, it no longer is. It just isn't as friendly as it used to be.
Outstanding! We stayed for five nights and enjoyed the property, pool and lawn games. The staff was helpful and everything was clean. We missed not having Marley's restaurant on the island but are looking forward to the new restaurant which appears to be getting close to opening. More improvements to the grounds have been made since our stay last year but the most notable difference was the staff vibe. Amy, Emma, and the gang made the stay more than just overnight dockage. They are setting up fun things for both adults and kids that made us feel more like we were at a vacation resort and not simply 'transients.' Their hearty 'good morning' and genuine smiles went a long a way to ease weary voyagers. Our group of three boats were given consecutive spaces to tie up which was ideal.
