We love Stirling and as always the restaurant was excellent, bathrooms nice and clean, dock staff helpful. Pool was great , definitely one of our favorites.

I have a hard time saying enough about this marina. Absolutely FIRST CLASS facilities! From our arrival with multiple boats to our departure 3 days later, we all agreed that this is the benchmark for Service and Cleanliness. The entire area is spotless. Pool, rest rooms, common areas etc. Even the pump out boat was on time and you can “text” them. It seems that most marinas are suffering from a shortage of Technicians. Upon arrival, we had an electrical issue and could not access shore power. The temp BTW was in excess of 90 degrees. Even with the staff shortage they were able to provide some tech diagnosis (within minutes I might add). A quick trip to a local parts store and we were back in business with operational Air Conditioning!. This marina continues to be my “go to” spot on the North Fork!

Enjoyed our stay very much. Wish we could stay longer. 😊. James is very helpful and goes above and beyond to accommodate us.

I am at at brewers and it’s lovely . clean easy access , the dock hands are good too. docks are in great shape ! we love Billys by the bay the tiki bar in the marina and also peurto bello . both are fun with great food and service . we love the causal atmosphere at BBTB a and the music is always a hit . pool at stirling is spectacular ! both Marinas could use better WIFI and better cable access . thanks

It was a well maintained and pretty marina with a good restaurant inside the property. Getting to downtown was about a 20-minute walk. The shuttle was no longer running after Labor Day. There are taxis available as an alternative.

Beautiful Marina. We were assigned a very nice slip. Dock hand was available when we arrived initially at gas dock for check in & at slip. Marina was very well kept & maintained, nice pool showers, etc. The only issue was with Greenport - we went the Tues/Wed after Labor Day & the town of Greenport was very quiet, (almost shutdown to some extent) & many of the restaurants were closed. The restaurant at the marina - which looked very nice with a piano bar, etc was closed both nights. The marina is about 1.3 miles from town - walkable about 25 minutes. In past years we heard they offered shuttles but they no longer offered this service which would have been very nice. Overall very nice experience & great marina.

We love staying here. Please bring back the van shuttle.

Had an electrical issue on the boat. Mark (service manager) came to the boat-assessed issue-found problem-and repaired. Great guy! Restaurant excellent.

It has easy docking, great staff to help, fuel station, pool, a little far to walk to town, but can easily take the marina shuttle or car service

Facilities are very well maintained and there is a pool and a good restaurant on site. Quiet place to just relax on your boat but also very expensive. We needed 100 amp service and on dock breaker kept flipping. Attendant was confident that out boat was the problem. Ran on generator so we had full A/C. They did not charge for power but not a great customer experience.

My slip assignment was great. We arrived on Friday and there was geese feces on the docks go the parking lot. Otherwise, the grounds were excellent and the dock staff is always helpful. Also, I was very disappointed that the van was not taking people to town and back. Christian at Safe Harbor Greenport said he would get someone to take me to town, but couldn't promise a ride back. I called Saturday at noon and he said he would call me back in 5-10 min. After 25 min. I called him and reached a voice mail. I left a message and he called me back in 5-10 min. and said that the service manage rode his bike to the marina that morning and went home in the van and left his bike, so we had to walk to and from town. Although we could have taken an UBER but didn't bother.

Awesome as usual. We were one of two transients. The marina was unusually extra quiet . The season is trying to end!! The staff was friendly, professional and courteous as always!! Favorite place to come to! Frank & Cindy

Sterling Harbor Marina strives in every way to make our boating experience a good one. The facilities are top notch and are kept clean. It’s our number one marina destination on Long Island.

Robert handled being the dock hand, gas dock attendant and pump out boat service. He really did everything he could to make out stay as wonderful as possible. The marina is in a great location, the facilities are clean and air conditioned.

Very nice marina. All amenities were very clean and functional. Grounds are expertly maintained. Friendly shuttle service to and from town was appreciated. We plan on staying again on future trips.

Very nice facility. Staff at the gas dock was very friendly and helpful at checkin. We arrived early due to predicted weather conditions, and were accommodated as the slip was open, and dock staff assisted us with docking. The welcome bag with marina and local information was a nice touch. We did take out at the restaurant and the staff was friendly and helpful, food was very good. Amenities such as restrooms and showers were plentiful,clean and very nice. Shuttle into town was good, not only scheduled times, the driver gave us a phone number to call when we were ready to be picked up. Only disappointment was there wasn’t a dog park as listed on their web site. And there never has been one according to staff. We have a large dog we travel with, so this was a factor in choosing this marina. They really need to update their web site regarding this. There were opportunities in the area for walking, so overall, we would stay here again.

This is the 3rd year in a row we have stayed at Safe Harbor Stirling. We have always been met by professional experienced dock hands and the facilities are clean and well maintained. The pool is an additional bonus. And Ryan, Dockmaster in charge always accommodates our needs. We will be back again next year for our fourth stay.

Not up to the standards we have grown to expect of Safe Harbor Stirling. Dock staff was rude when we arrived at fuel dock to check in. Asked why we did not call in on radio to which I responded we did not know antennas were damaged from shrink wrapping until we went to use for this trip. Dock hand said he would meet us at slip we reserved to assist. Never showed up. Shuttle service very unreliable. Left my wife and sister in laws as well as several other people stranded in town. All ended up having to call uber or a taxi at our expense.

Reservation process with Dockwa was easy. Staff at Sterling Harbor were friendly and accommodating. Facilities were clean. The onsite restaurant, Porto Bello, was excellent! Great food and staff!

Coming from another Safe Harbor Marina, we have reserved a transient stay here every summer for the last 8 years. The well-trained staff is attentive, respectful and extremely helpful. Ryan is the best and the Facility is top notch in every way.

we were 3 boats and they were able to place us next to each other. Very Nice Marina!! Great town...don't need a dinghy here. Walk to town, a winery, a brewery, to the beach...eat at a very good restaurant at the marina.... Tight squeeze getting into the basin, go slow.

We did our yearly stay again at sterling harbor and are starting to wonder why we don’t stay longer. We as always enjoyed the grounds , the pool and there’s a few more gas grills to use. We had an unexpected sanitation issue and sent out a late night email to the doc master and someone was at our boat first thing in the morning.

The new restroom and showers are a work of art, seriously they are beautiful....restaurant is very good and they spent a fortune on the grounds.

This is by far our favorite destination marina. The staff is very professional and they all work hard to make you feel welcome. The restrooms and showers are very clean and modern. I highly suggest this marina as a first choice.

One of the nicest marinas i have visited, great staff, facilities, pool and restaurant were all excellent and to some extent above. Short walk to town, shuttle if you feel like relaxing.

Nice marina but its a hike to get to town.

Very clean restrooms! They gave us an easy in, easy out dock spot. And of course a good restaurant on premises. Only issue was that the Dockwa and website staffing hours disagreed with what the staff told us. I'm not sure when they are staffed until this late in the season, but we got in early enough for it not to matter.

Marina and staff were excellent However we were not pleased with Porta Bella restaurant as they charged for bread and ice for to go containers Will not be going there for dinner ever again

Stirling is a beautiful marina with a friendly and helpful staff. Tyler, who helped us tie up when we arrived, was extremely friendly and polite. The complimentary shuttle was always prompt and the drivers were always polite. However, we were not too impressed with Porto Bello...I had made reservations a few days before our arrival for 8 people; when we arrived (promptly at the reserved time) the hostess seemed disoriented and not ready for us, i.e., there was no table for 8 set up when we got there. We stood around for over 5 minutes while she was putting something together, and the service was not that great. But all in all, we did enjoy the marina.

Beautiful marina, staff is great. A day after we got there we were told there was a COVID outbreak and the entire staff was sent home. They closed the gas docks down that day. We were left to find gas’s on shelter island. Being a safe harbor marina I was wondering why they couldn’t bring in staff from other safe harbors. The pool was still open though!

The restaurant was great!!! We came in late and were really hungry. The restaurant had closed a half hour before we arrived, which we didn’t know. We were told we could get something at the bar for dinner, which we were so grateful. The bar tender who served us was awesome!!!! She made our night!! She made us feel so welcome, recommended food, and was a great conversationalist! The meals were incredible!!!! I cannot recommend the food more. We were so satisfied with our experience! We will be back!

Great facility, professional staff, clean bathrooms and excellent pool. Only downside was the restaurant wasn’t open. They must be having staffing issues like everywhere else.

We stay at Safe Harbor Stirling every year. It is very well run. The boating facilities (water and electric and the dock) are always in working order. The staff is always available to assist. The bathroom showers are roomy and clean. The pool is clean and clear. There are great restaurants nearby. The shuttle service into town is wonderful. Downtown Greenport is only a mile away. A lovely beach is only a five minute walk away. It's a great place. Another big bonus is the other boaters. All very nice friendly people who care about the marina.

One of our favorite stops on the LI Sound. Beautifully maintained, great amenities. Helpful staff (many thanks to Blair for his consult regarding a minor plumbing issue) . Hourly shuttle into Greenport (lovely town). Waterfront restaurant, “Porto Bello”, on site… I had one of my best-ever Bouillabaisses. Tyler was our ‘man on the dock’ this visit - a terrific young man; lots of fun to talk with. Tough reservation this year - very few empty slips, so plan in advance!

Sterling is an awesome marina close to Greenport --- staff is great and very helpful --- pool is beautiful and quiet , well landscaped ---- great club house and plenty of grills to cook --- restaurant on property which is not part of marina at one time was amazing !! -- Portobello --- unfortunately new ownership has taken over and it's not the same as when Diana was owner , prices unreasonable and service was terrible , your better off going into Greenport for nice dinner or walk to Billy's by the Bay which is a very cool place and has live music at given times ----- were part of Safe Harbor network and will be back

We spent three nights on the B dock. The dock staff and pool attendant were all rather disinterested. The showers were clean but the pool had a lot of sand in it. The courtesy shuttle into town was nice since there is not much in the immediate area but the van was a no show for pickup so we walked back. We have stayed many times over the years at this marina and it used to be one of my favorites. Unfortunately, it no longer is. It seems to go down a little each year and it isn't as friendly as it used to be.

We loved our stay at Stirling. Ryan was so helpful prior to our arrival and we had two dock hands help all of us (6 sailboats) coming in to tie up. Helpful having a shuttle to go back and forth if you didn't feel like walking to Greenport Village in the heat. Over a great stay and we look forward to our next visit

Safe Harbor Stirling Marina is always a great visit. The facility is well maintained and in pristine condition. The dock staff are very friendly and make docking a breeze. We will definitely be coming back.

My wife and I love coming to this marina. The staff are helpful and friendly. The facilities are clean, roomy and comfortable. Everything about the place says “welcome”. Can’t wait to go back.

Our stay was wonderful. Weather caused a late a arrival but the Dock Master in the sister yard made an exception to get us to our Tee Time with minutes to spare. He helped us again with a pickup following Golf. Normal shuttle was not available after Labor Day but due to his customer first attitude the trip was a great success. A great spot with good management!

gas dock, dock hands excellent. office staff knowledge was not great, didn't know hours of lounge, didn't know ship store sold out of marine tp so we hiked next door to sister marina and told they had none even though we asked the office staff at our marina. didn't help it was in a heat wave and 90+ degrees outside. Had to wait 30 minutes for shuttle and could not sit inside with air conditioning. not a lot of empathy with office team. great facility and wonderful dock side staff!

Absolutely awesome marina! Well run and organized. The restrooms and showers were spotless! The dock staff were helpful and attentive. Real quality operation. Other marinas could learn from this facility, top notch operation.

This was our first trip to Stirling and we were impressed with the facility overall. Dockhand Liam was very helpful in getting us to our slip given that we were unfamiliar with the layout. The laundry room was beautiful and I suggest that the marina carry laundry detergent to better enable guests to use it.

Had to back my 35-foot sailboat into shoreside slip with little room. Restaurant was great.

Great and attentive staff - had issue with a faucet water line and i was provided with an immediate solution. Facilities are very clean and enjoyed our week stay.

Safe Harbor Greenport Sterling Harbor is a beautiful facility. Bathrooms crystal clean- plenty of grills-and the complimentary shuttle to town is a huge plus. Pool is beautiful but only opportunity is that it closes way too early! Pool should be open until at least 9pm in mid summer.

Always a great marina to visit. Great facilities and staff! The dockmaster Ryan was very accommodating and his staff most helpful. One of the staff also helped us get a canvas repair job accomplished. Thank you!!

Tremendous place. Facilities all clean. Bathrooms are huge, lounge is perfect. Short walk to town and the docks are completely protected from wind. Had a mechanical issue about three hours away. Donna was great. Had service manager Al and tech Blair on my boat the next day for a repair. Came back three days later. Would recommend to anyone. Going back next year (or hopefully this fall)

Facilities are first class from the pool to restrooms, showers, and work out room. First class grills all around the docks. Air conditioning quit and I called the office at 7:30 and Donna had me fixed up with Pete and I was fixed by 1pm. Now that’s service

Ryan was super accommodating to myself and a couple of friends. He, as well as the entire staff, is friendly, helpful and ensures you have a great stay. The marina is clean, has great amenities and extremely attentive to its dockers. We will definitely be back!

Spent 4 nights, a very enjoyable stay in an extremely well maintained facility. Staff was very responsive and personable, especially helping me resolve some electrical issues. This will definitely be on the list for next year. My one nit pick would be that a first class facility like this really should have its open pumpout.

As usual great job my the dock staff and the marina grounds and facilities were in excellent shape. They had problem with the hot water in the new pavilion showers which was a disappointment given how nice they are compared to my boat.

everyone was extremely helpful and concerned about getting me to a slip close to the shuttle and restaurant because of a bad knee. Love coming here. Just wish you could have stopped the rain on Monday the 13th.

Beautiful, well maintained marina with floating docks and easy docking and attentive staff. Restaurant right next to the docks and pool with lifeguard. Shuttle to Greenport on the hour.

Would have given them 5 stars except the shore power voltage for the 50A service was too low to operate my AC units. Dockmaster was great allowing us to leave a day earlier than planned due to bad weather coming at no charge.

Outstanding facilities (both in terms of being updated and CLEAN) and a very friendly staff. The Marina itself is situated a little outside of town but there is a shuttle that runs every hour. Also there is a restaurant on site and lots of green/ picnic areas throughout the grounds to stretch your legs. For the price, I’d say that this is the highest value marina that we’ve stayed at to date.

This is the second time that we have stayed at Sterling Harbor Marina. In a word everything was excellent. The staff is very attentive, the restaurant is great, the marina as a whole is well maintained. Patrick is very professional and a gentleman at all times. We look forward to coming back next year and for many years to come.

We liked everything about Brewer Stirling - it was clean, people were friendly and had some nice amenities. However, when we went to gas up prior to leaving, we were told they had no fuel. They said the fuel truck was coming the next day. This was a problem for us since we were timing high tide at Moriches and had to try to find fuel. Otherwise, I would recommend it.

It is an amazing marina. The facilities are beautiful and clean and safe. I was traveling with 3 boats and the accommodated us by providing slips next to each other. They have daily runs to and from the town of greenport. We will Definately be back again.

Totally insufficient dock hands. Only one one duty when we arrived. Did not provide welcome and info package. He had to leave the fuel dock to run around the marina to see if the transient slip was actually empty and assist us in. When we wanted to use the pool was informed we could not because only one dockhand on duty. This in the height of the summer sailing season.

Great marina with a great staff and nice locals as well! The marina is absolutely beautiful and the town of Greenport is only about a mile away. There are tons of restaurants and shops and waterfront fun! There is also a nearby brewery and a winery!

It was a beautiful marina. We enjoyed the accommodations tremendously. Not to mention the boaters on dock N where the nicest people and made us feel right at home

This is one of our favorite marinas. Very well maintained and clean facilities. Great location away from the fray, but close enough to the town center to walk, or take the free shuttle to make it easy. The Porto Bello restaurant on site is also excellent. We will definitely make this a regular stop.

Pool was scheduled to be open until 7pm...but everyone was kicked out at 6pm...beautiful night could have enjoyed the pool
