They are working hard to make improvements. New decking on docks, electrical pylons, etc. John the dockmaster is great. On a summer weekend they had live music at the onsite bar, and the restaurant was even open for breakfast. Short walk to West Marine and a booze store.
Oddly over priced. One of the most expensive moorings in Maine + $5 per person to shower + $5 per bag of trash + $2 to fill your water tank. Did not encounter these extra costs anywhere else in a month of cruising Maine. Some of the moorings seem too tightly spaced. Not going back.
As a transient, was not given any kind of welcome package about the town, bathroom codes, etc. we had to ask questions or fend for ourselves. Wifi was not working and we were told it had been down for quite some time. Things seem to be going downhill under TPG ownership. We stayed here in 2019 and it was one of our favorite stops. All that being said the marina is in a great location to the little downtown and restaurants.
