Good service with a convenient location in Solomons Island at a reasonable price.
It was safe enough, baths need to be upgraded. Friendly
Nice, quiet & conveniently located. Owner was headed out of town but no prob making arrangements via Dockwa. No deckhands about to help tie up but we regularly tie up by ourselves anyway so no biggie. On-site restaurant serving fresh seafood. Docks in the process of being rebuilt- ours had new stringers, decking, elec & water hookups installed. Bathrooms not fancy but very Very clean.
Location good and other boat owners, including the charter captains were great, but docks in poor repair and being poorly repaired, pool rough and bathrooms marginal. Will not be a first choice when next in town.
Marina was clean. Lots of upgrades. My crew liked the Anglers Restaurant on site. Will be back.
very convenient to the hotel there was a Pool everything‘s a little tired but very clean and works perfectly
I just found out the rate is different for the weekend. So my previous comments can be ignored.
Great place. Enjoyed our stay. More of a local marina than a transient destination. Current management has made significant progress in developing transient business.
We arrived two days after the big flood in October but marina was in good shape. Great price for Solomons @ $1.50ft. John, the dock master, was very helpful and accommodating on Sunday when we arrived. Our only problem was not being able to hook up to electric on our pier bc of upgrades that weren’t compatible with our old (1981) boat; we kept tripping their circuit breaker. John offered to move us to another pier (which hadn’t been upgraded yet) but we were already tied up and only staying two nights. Small bathroom and shower; laundry room. I gave it a 3 but would go back for the hospitality and great rate. The 5 star Anglers Restaurant on the premises!
We kept our trawler at Beacon from June through October. Overall it was a very good experience. The other boaters on our dick were friendly, welcoming and helpful. John, the harbor master was accommodating and easy to work with. The marina is located with walking distance of everything; West Marine, bank, restaurants, liquor store and shopping. There is a grocery and hardware store close by as well. We will be back in the spring.
We had a nice overnight stop at Beacon Marina. Excellent service from the dockmaster and we had a delicious meal at the on site restaurant. The bathrooms were clean but would have appreciated a bit more security. We will return.
Fantastic little marina. Good price and Captain John was very friendly and helpful. Docking was easy and they let us check out an hour late. There is a good little restaurant right in the marina, and they have bathroom, showers, and laundry facilities. West Marine is walking distance.
Enjoyed our time at Beacon Marina. The dock master John is very quick to get back to you and very accommodating.
