Delamar is a great marina set in a beautiful destination. We enjoyed relaxing and watching the boats pass by. Not a bad walk to the village that has a variety of things to do. Dock master was friendly and accommodating. Will be back next season for sure.
Unlike other Safe Harbor marinas, this particular one in Haverstraw turned out to be a nightmare. The staff was very hostile towards figuring out a solution to neighboring transient boaters who were arguing loudly and eventually that escalated into a physical fight. After speaking to several other transient boaters there, it is clear that transients are highly unwelcomed by the seasonal boaters and with the slip spaces being right on top of one another, with little room, we thought we would explore the town. Don't bother, the town of Haverstraw is a very depressed and run down old town with no restaurants within miles. Onsite in the marina, is a very overpriced and loud restaurant. Cannot recommend this marina to anyone even for a one night stop-over .
