This is always a wonderful stay as the mooring balls are in excellent condition and dock master Larry Denning is always available and very helpful. The dinghy dock is close by, the local restaurants are great, and the beach is almost across the street. A great stop once again! Thanks Larry!\n. \n\n
Our stay was on mooring ball C and on arrival we found that the pennant eye was frayed. We secured the boat using the mooring eye instead of the pennant. Am disappointed as Zahniser's is a very good marina but at $1.50/ft for a mooring ball expect better as in addition, the wifi in the mooring field was very, very weak- unusable. The restaurant is excellent but does not require an overnight stay.
Great stay! Austin communicates clearly & while the reservation is on Dockwa he made sure that we knew of available space as moorings are on a first come basis. We arrived after the office closed and he went out of his way to drop off the laundry/shower key. Well organized, quiet mooring field and very clean and bright facilities. Lots of room at the dinghy dock. We'll be back! Thanks!
Our 3rd year here & a friendly, well run operation. Susan does a great job, obviously cares about & is responsive to each & every boater. She is ably assisted by Jules, Cindy, JJ, Derek & the entire team. Great pool, clean, large laundry facility, good restaurant on site, weekly pumpout, nice docks & well run. What more can you ask for? We're looking forward to our next visit already! 4/28/22 update on leaving- at fuel dock Claudia was exceptional as we arrived early and at 6:45am she made sure we filled with diesel and were on our way. Helpful, efficient, friendly! Thanks to all, great stay, looking forward to returning!
We're a trawler so were anchored rather than on a mooring ball but used their great launch service. Easy, responsive and very professional! We'll be back as it's a good stop.
Easy process to reserve on dockwa, clear navigation instructions, beautiful mooring field & well maintained mooring balls. We'll be back!
