Great dock staff and there is launch service into town for dinner. As it was the day after Labor Day, I was surprised to see the pool and clubhouse closed (my calendar says summer doesn't end until the 21st). Nevertheless, a great mid-sound spot.
Normally, with its great restaurant, pool, laundry, ship's store, etc., I would give the place 5 stars. However, when I arrived (I had a reservation) the fuel dock was abandoned and nobody responded to radio calls. I docked myself and was told that since it was after Labor Day, all of their staff either were calling in sick or went back to school. They at least reduced the dockage rate.
Great location, but after Labor Day, it's a ghost town. Helpful dock people, but not much transient space. Dock does not have cleats, so tying up is a chore. Additionally, the restaurant was closed on Monday after 3:00pm, though no mention of that was on the website.
Great location and great staff, though they close at 5:00pm and the marina becomes a "free-for-all" after that. Facilities are nice, but it's a long walk from your slip to the head/showers.
I had requested an end-dock, and even though there were a few open, they gave me a slip deep in the marina. Arriving dock hand seemed very inexperienced with dock lines. No ice available. Dockhouse didn't open until 10:30am the next morning (Monday). He arrived at 10:40 and helped us reverse out. Also, the WiFi was not working anywhere in the marina. On the plus side, great restrooms and great on-site restaurant. I just wish the marina portion was better managed.
