They have 19 new moorings north of the bridge, but the old moorings to the south of the bridge have not been restored since Hurricane Ian in 2022. Also there are no facilities with the mooring because that has not been rebuilt. We stayed one night and did enjoy the restaurants that had reopened. So overall a good stop over and worth staying.
The transient dock is one long sea wall so the harbor master was very concerned with the extra length created by a dinghy on Davits. We were told this by Frank as we docked. In this case we can see how it is important to know capacity at the dock. Other than this the facilities were good, but the bathroom fans needed cleaning. The Marina is in a great location for access to the city.
The docks are in a great location for access to downtown Tampa. The docks are floating and have power and water. The main negatives are no showers and no security gate. There is access to public bathrooms within a short walk.
Very nice Marina with floating transient dock. The facilities were very well maintained and clean. The Marina is about 1 mile walk from downtown. I would use this Marina again!
The condition of the docks are poor and their App for bathroom access is Terrible! We stayed two nights and I couldn’t get my app to work, only womens bathrooms showed as available and there is no clear labeling of which each bathroom was. I ended up using the facilities on my boat! May as well have been at anchor!
