Nice place lots to do and great people. A lot of work was done over the winter so improvements abound! TLC. Marina Manager so so helpful and accommodating. Great launch service and so so much to do. A super wonderful stay and we love returning here. Dockhands were waiting for us when we arrived at slip, Launch service was spectacular. Tony and Colleen We LOVED visiting Pope's each year and this year, 2026 we took the plunge and moved from our former marina that was 10 minutes from home to Pope's. We now have a 35-minute ride, but oh so worth it! Bathrooms are new and air conditioned, there is a complimentary lemonade/iced tea cart most weekends, a lunch at start of season, and a breakfast a few weeks later. The Captain's Lounge (new) has a pool table, 2 grills and great tables and chairs under a tent. You can be as busy or as non-busy as you wish. Friendly people and most of all the staff! Greg and Yana are truly wonderful and accommodating to the max. Dock help is over the top! We were towed in this year and our 39' CPMY was a handful in the wind. However, when Tow Boats brought her in, there were 3 marina staff and 2 dock neighbors. Close to most everything. In short, we should have moved here a few years ago, however we love calling Pope's Island our home port!

Kingmans is a destination with the rustic charm of Cape Cod and the venerable Chart Room restaurant. People are kind and considerate and they strive for excellence which they achieved. Restrooms and showers are impeccable. A great stay and we would come back again.
OB is always a great destination with hustle and bustle and something for everyone. We try and visit a couple of times a year. Noah and Todd are super people who strive to make each stay great and they achieve that status. Looking forward to our next visit.
