Nice place overall but the 2 things that would keep me from coming back are A. The water taxi’s that come and go every 20 min at top speed right from the dock of the marina and you are rolling in your slip all day. B. The price of electricity here is criminal. We paid almost $100 dollars a day at one point and an average of $90. We were in Green turtle for 8 days and our entire electric bill was $354 i assume they get their electric from the same source.?? The marina is less than 1/4 full, maybe that’s the reason.
Scott the Dockmaster and his crew are first class. They cannot do enough for you and it is a great facility. We’ll be back.
Great place great staff. Be sure to ask for a slip WITH electric and water. Not all slips have it. During a easterly blow, swell can be a little choppy in the basin. The Sandals resort is not issuing day passes at this time. There is a smaller resort called Grand Isle right across the road that you can use no problem.
Looks like it will be a great place when it is finished. Docks were nice, good shore power, and the steakhouse resturant is fantastic. The problem we had was they advertise 12’ of water at the dock but it is more like 7.5’ and we draw almost 8’ so we had to depart as we were on the bottom at low tide. There is a slight surge even with easterly weather, if it was a northerly wind I believe you would have to leave. They are suppose to build a breakwater in front of the marina. The Dockmaster’s Howard and Sebastian were great guys.
Great Place!! Close to all kinds of shopping, resturants and Golf. Great staff, Captain Jason and his crew are top notch. We will be back.
Top shelf marina. Bonny the Dockmaster/owner is the best as is Havana on the dock. Marina is super clean, a five min walk to town and they even have nice new courtesy cars to use. They can’t do enough to help you. We will defiantly be returning.
