I cannot recommend this harbor enough. I will grant you this is my one and only time there.. SO FAR.. but it was excellent.. The people are amazingly friendly and helpful. The inner harbor is larger than one thinks.. The moorings have a loop on the pole that you use your line on. If you haven't had these before they aren't difficult but take a little getting used to.
The entrance this trip was 12 feet just before flood tide. Dredged about 2 year ago. And absolutely no problem.. 2 smaller boats can pass with care.
Only reason for 4 and not 5 stars is a lack of showers.. But I understand the limits of a remote Island and needing to maintain the character of the Island.
