Introduction:

Isleton is the first town you will encounter after the Sacramento River breaks into Steamboat Slough, Cache Slough and the Sacramento itself after Rio Vista. The bridge is located approximately a half-mile upstream from the town of Isleton.

Navigating the Bridge:

Use NOAA Chart 18661.

Characteristics: The bridge has a closed vertical clearance of 15 feet and 166 feet of horizontal clearance in the center span when the draw is open.

Bridge Schedule:

The bridge operates on a restricted schedule as follows:

Summer: Bridge opens with four hours advance notice from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. May 1 through Oct. 31; closed at all other times.

Winter: Bridge opens with four hours advance notice from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. November 1 through April 30; closed at all other times.
