Located just north of Morro Bay, and home to the infamous Hearst Castle, San Simeon has a small community pier that is only suitable for small dinghies and inflatables. Larger craft will have no place to tie up here.
Use NOAA Chart 18700.
San Simeon is wide open to the ocean, and there are no facilities for berthing larger craft here. Anchoring is not recommended.
Local Notices to Mariners are available online from the U.S. Coast Guard.
