Erie Canal Lock 6

Lock 6 gate 2 is a beautiful place to walk dogs unless you like having wannabe hillbillies illegally riding their quads and dirt bikes past you kicking up the gravel and rudely annoying you and your dogs! Why doesn't the Canal Corporation enforce the no motorized vehicles rule that the signs clearly state? They come in by the trailer loads now, some have Vermont plates on their trailers! Today I found a dead dear with it's head cut off and dumped in the weeds 10 feet from where said wannabes were parked all weekend, apparently the Canal Corporation and the D E C couldn't care less. Wouldn't it be great if SOMEBODY enforced the laws they have posted in plain site???
