Report Review

The staff were lovely, but... No showers, and really felt gouged in every way. The power was to be charged per kw but, non of the pedestal meters were working, therefore they wanted to charge $100 for my 40 ft sailboat? My previous experience at all other marinas I was charged between $5-10 USD for 2-5 day s of power. I understand that there was a charge for water as this is customary in the Bahamas. Garbage also an additional charge of $8 per bag.. Then on top of daily rate a $25 "convenience charge" on top of the resort charge of $17, and of course the expected 10% VAT. It just wasn't that great. Laundry facilities was extremely close and excellent albeit expensive, The settlement was lovely and the Bahamian's are beautiful, and extremely friendly. If I would have known I would have just gotten a mooring ball and been much happier in the long run.
