Approach

Upon entering the Manasquan Inlet travel inland approximately ¾ of a mile to the Railroad Bridge. The Railroad Bridge operator can be reached on channel 13, 24 hrs/7days a week and only closes when a train is approaching. The Bridge only allows for one vessel to travel through at a time, so be patient and wait your turn. Upon traveling through the Railroad Bridge you will begin to approach the Rt. 35 Bridge. Vessels over 35 feet in height will have to contact the Bridge Operator via channel 13 in order to schedule an opening. If traveling during the Winter months you will need to contact the Bridge Operator via phone to pre-schedule an opening. Once through the Rt. 35 bridge, continue south through the channel of the Manasquan River. Keep within the channel as it can get shallow. You will soon pass Osborn Island (aka Treasure Island) on your right, and the Point Pleasant Canal which is the start of the Intercostal Waterway to the left. Prior to the Rt. 70 Bridge, you will find Crystal Point Marina on your left. If you are continuing to the Manasquan River Club Marina, continue under the route 70 bridge (mind the clearance) this is a fixed span bridge with approximately 23 foot of vertical clearance depending on the tide. Approximately a half mile on your left you will see a large island like a peninsula which is Manasquan River Club. Please stay in the marked Channels and obey all NO Wake Zones.
