Our marina provides fully powered slips and a large mooring field to accommodate any size or type of boat. We offer full services at our clubhouse for launch services, water, showers, dining, and outdoor grilling. The clubhouse is open to the public on Friday nights for dinner and the Member's bar provides food and drink every day. Club opens at 5:30pm and is available 363 days a year. We are walking distance to Pawtuxet Village and a 5 minute ride into Providence if you want to do some exploring. We're happy to host you!
Leah, the launch driver was great: friendly, knowledgable and helpful. We walked through Pawtuxet Village thinking we'd eat dinner at a restaurant but ended up enjoying the hospitality of the yacht club. Tuesday night is race night so they had a buffet in addition to their usual menu. We opted for the buffet and were not disappointed. The cocktails at the bar were generous pours. Highly recommended. The only possible negative is that it lies directly in the flight path of planes landing at T.F. Green Airport. Planes did not land at night and this was not a problem for us (and certainly outside the control of the yachtclub who was there before the airport)!
The dockmaster, Todd, was very nice and helpful. However, the mooring lines were so crusted with barnacles and sea life that we had to try three different moorings before we could find one that was usable.
Excellent facilities, easy walk to town for restaurants, friendly and helpful staff (once you get hold of them). Would be a five star except that I had a devil of a time getting anyone from the club to answer or return calls when I needed some info in advance.
Very friendly helpful people . Great food. Proximity to Providence is wonderful. The launch starts at 9 am.
We had an amazing stay at the RIYC. The members and staff were so friendly; the bathrooms/showers were completely adequate and clean; the town of Pawtucket with nice restaurants and shops was a short walk; the launch service was accessible and easy. We actually left our boat at RIYC while we travelled home for a week. The boat was just where we left it when we returned! We would heartily recommend RIYC.
We had a great stay Been here before Second visit was even more enjoyable than the first Established in 1875 I guess they know what they are doing Laid back super people
The staff at RIYC is first rate and very accommodating. We had awesome time there, as the post Gaspee Days Parade party at RIYC was not to be missed.
Been going there for years. Always a great trip. Nice place, nice people.
The Rhode Island Yacht Club was an excellent stay for us! Super friendly staff and easy to get to. There wasn’t any issues receiving help when needed, will definitely come back. Don’t hesitate to check it out!
This is probably the friendliest marina/yachtclub we have encountered on our trip around the world so far. Great service, nice people, good restaurant, and all very competitively priced to boot!! Don't miss this cozy marina if you go this far into Rhode Island.
Outstanding club. Very friendly members and staff. Made us feel welcome. Facilities are well kept. Lots to do in town, a very short walk with good restaurants. We look forward to visiting again.
We reserved a dock for Fri/Sat of Gaspee weekend. Kudos to dockmaster Ben for showing us to the dock when we arrived. Docks were clean and neat, as were the restrooms ( I won't "dock" them 0.3 for being light on TP sunday morning at 6am because all other logistics were perfecto :). Docks seemed very full - like 100%. Suggest you book in advance. The 4-block walk to Pawtuxet Village produced a variety of eateries and more. Of course we were there for the Parade which was a 2-hour fun time with many drum/buggle corps plus musket and cannon firing.
