You need a membership to dock there but you can sign up right away online, and even with the membership fee ("Admiral Level" required) it's still cheaper than other marinas there. The dockhand was VERY helpful when we came in, and it's in walking distance to many nice stores/restaurants and the museum! Definitely a great spot when cruising the Chesapeake Bay Area.
