Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum

Excellent as always! Dock master Josh is always on hand to assist and we are happy to support the museum. Water at the docks would be nice though.

One of the best and certainly historic places to dock on the Chesapeake. Great attention to arrival time and departure. Easy access to St. Michaels especially the ice cream shops. Highly recommended.

We have been docking at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum for years. Josh, Gibby and Geo are amazing dockmasters! They go above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Extremely helpful. Highly recommend!

This was our second out of season stay and we will be back. Great place to dock for a few nights and enjoy St. Michaels. Josh the dockmaster was very helpful, and the ground of the museum remain well kept. We will be back.

We had the most amazing time at the Maritime Museum. The docks were well maintained, Gibby and the rest of the dock staff were helpful and friendly, and the museum itself was incredible. We will return and couldn’t recommend this stop highly enough.

Gibby helped us dock on W tee, which we had requested.

You need a membership to dock there but you can sign up right away online, and even with the membership fee ("Admiral Level" required) it's still cheaper than other marinas there. The dockhand was VERY helpful when we came in, and it's in walking distance to many nice stores/restaurants and the museum! Definitely a great spot when cruising the Chesapeake Bay Area.

Fantastic stay for our first time at the marina. The employee who jumped on the boat to help with docking was terrific. We also greatly appreciated the pump out boat that came to our slip. We plan to sail to CBMM again! Chasseur

Excellent docks! And a very good price for our stay in St Michaels. The staff were friendly and helpful and the grounds of the Museum were well kept. It is a working shipyard, which means you’ll hear some noise during the day, but you’ll get to see some pretty cool things. We got to watch as a wooden mast was reinstalled into a Shipjack right behind our sailboat

Josh and the team are incredible. It is the best Marina service we've had on the bay. It's a great gem to pull into and be able to walk around town. We stayed two nights, the grounds are magic at night and super quiet. We can't wait for our next visit. Please support the museum and become a member!

CBMM is the prime location at St. Michaels! They graciously accommodated our yacht club "Club cruise" visit requests. Docking was super easy thanks to the expert and knowledgeable help of the dockmaster. The facilities are always very clean and well stocked!

Great slip, good service from Josh and his team! I come here 3 or 4 time a year. Easy walk to St Michaels. This time we came for the Waterman’s Appreciation Festival. Really fun event!

Fantastic stay for the Waterman's Appreciation day. Boat docking event was fantastic as it usually is. This is an annual event for us to attend. Dockmaster is fantastic. Highly recommend add the place to be in St Michaels.

We stayed over the Fourth of July weekend. Awesome staff, big band, food trucks and moon bounce for the kids. Great spot to watch the fireworks too.

It's always a major pleasure to stay at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum. Josh and his team do a superb job of taking care of everyone. The extra effort is really appreciated. This is a special place to stop on the Chesapeake Bay.

The staff were excellent and professional, took very good care of us!

This is a nice marina convenient to town and right in the heart of the Maritime Museum. Fixed docks in good condition are exposed to East winds, but generally very comfortable. Would probably get a little wake action on busy weekend. Washroom facilities are clean and serviceable. A stay requires an annual mariners membership to museum which we felt was worth it both for the less expensive moorage and to support this truly fantastic museum. Will happily come back again.
