Brand: 2 Pumps Available; Octane: 89;In 1944, George J. “Butch” Baudhuin identified Sturgeon Bay’s position between Lake Michigan and Green Bay as a prime location for a marina and established Baudhuin Yacht Harbor. Over the years, the name changed to Sturgeon Bay Yacht Harbor and most recently, Bay Marine Yacht Harbor. In 1952, Baudhuin donated the land for what is now the Sturgeon Bay Yacht Club.
Co-owners, Mark and Matt Felhofer, purchased the Sturgeon Bay Yacht Harbor in July 2021. This seemed like a natural progression as the brothers continue to grow the business that their father, Fran Felhofer, started over 50 years ago. The purchase of the Yacht Harbor will allow Bay Marine to expand its yacht brokerage, storage and service capabilities. They plan to continue developing the nearly 80-year old marina and reclaim its distinction as one of the premier marinas on the Great Lakes.
Conveniently located between Lake Michigan and the Bay of Green Bay in beautiful Door County, Wisconsin, a unique boating experience awaits you at Bay Marine Yacht Harbor. Our friendly staff is dedicated to serving our customers on an individual basis offering quality service, care and attention.
Bay Marine Yacht Harbor offers a variety of well protected seasonal and transient slips for boats up to 100 feet, a full service fuel dock with ethanol-free gasoline and diesel, clean showers, saltwater swimming pool, laundry facilities, free wi-fi and outdoor grilling & socializing areas. The Marina is just a short walk or bike ride away from great restaurants and historic downtown Sturgeon Bay.
All looked so new, the docks, the pool, the lounge, all were new and sparkling clean. We walked to Sonny’s restaurant which was about a 15 minute walk. Will be back.
This is a very upscale marina/resort. Facilities are new, beautiful, and very clean. Our only issue was coming in. No one answered the phone or radio to give direction. Glad Dockwa gave us the dock and slip number online! We usually have assistance coming into a dock. No one was around.
First class in every way.
Excellent marina with top notch facilities and the best dock master, John! Will be back!
This was a fabulous marina. Very well maintained and clean. Employees were very nice and helpful. Can’t wait to visit again.
Beautiful marina. Nice patio with grill and gas fireplace. Bathrooms and showers are each individual and are wonderful and luxurious. Slips are large and docks are new. Indoor gathering space with foosball.
We love this marina! Quiet, friendly, new pool and clubhouse.
Fantastic new marina with a helpful staff. Beautiful boaters lounge and among the nicest private bathroom and shower facilities of marinas we’ve visited. The nice-looking new pool opened the day before we arrived. We could only stay one day, but this is a great place for a longer stay.
Great Marina with amazingly clean bathrooms and showers. Big lawn, gazebo and fire pit. Restaurants within a half mile walk. Only one suggestion would make them even better, the dock signage from the water could be improved. 9-21-21
Had a great stay and the staff was very friendly.
Helpful staff, clean and spacious shower facilities. Laundry too. Short walk to a great Irish pub.
Bathrooms were clean, docks were in good repair. Gas grill for our use.. other marina boat owners were friendly.. Very small marina - after we arrived, there was no staff around. When we registered our reservation, John quickly sent emails with our slip assignment, wifi code, and bathroom code. He was very kind and friendly on the phone, and was there with staff to catch our lines. The marina was just sold a week ago, and the offices are about a city block away. We did enjoy being close to the Maritime Museum.. During their transition to new ownership, there is no fuel or pump out available. Plans are to build a new building, increase the number of docks.
Great service. Good food at the restaurant.
Very clean. No goose poop on docks! A bit of a walk to get to the museum and restaurants. For reference walking from boat to maritime museum, doing museum tour (no tower), to Kitty OReilly Pub and back to the boat was about 8k to 9k steps.
Facilities were fine and clean and the staff (one man show) was extremely helpful. Easy bike or walk into town.
Lots of weeds in slip
Very pleasant staff. Super friendly and nice neighbors too.
It was a very nice facility. Nice pool and club house, large clean showers, and a great fire pit. The people were all very friendly.
