AYC typically accepts transient requests on Dockwa for "last minute" reservations. But in the shoulder season we are able to confirm transient reservations further in advance.
Daytime (hourly) transient slips sometimes available - please call 207-967-3060 or reach us on VHF Channel #9 on the day of your request to confirm availability. Rates are $10/hour for boats up to 30' and $20/hour for boats 30' to 60' (maximum beam is 15').
Our docks and slips are home to approximately 50 member boats we occasionally have 1 or 2 transient slips with water and 30/50 Amp shore power available for boaters visiting Kennebunkport. Transient guests have access to our clubhouse, the Ropewalk.
Dock Square is a 5 minute walk with dozens of shops, restaurants, and a well stocked store with provisions and beverages. We have ice available onsite as well as wireless access at the Ropewalk. Transient boaters are welcome to use club amenities, including bathrooms with a shower, a deck with seating and BBQ grills. Guests must observe the same dock rules as our members, including quiet hours, no loud music, no swimming off the docks, shirts and shoes required, and generally no activities that would disturb others on the docks.
Founded in 1957, the AYC is a working club based on volunteer activity and all members are encouraged to participate. Our mission is the enjoyment of boating, waterfront activities, and social events with fellow members in an informal setting.
Dockmaster was there to catch lines. and to send us off after two night stay. "Ropewalk" clubhouse oozes 100 year old charm, with piano and fireplace. Great shaded deck, plenty of grills and inside kitchen. Three blocks to downtown.
Very convenient to the town. Did have a problem with shore power.
We received an extremely friendly and greeting and help with our lines upon arrival. Good location, within a short walk of all the downtown attractions. We were put on a face dock, which was easy and convenient. They do have 30 and 50 amp electrical hookups, although it's not indicated in the description. The clubhouse has restrooms and showers, which are closed after hours but accessible with a combination.
David the dockmaster was so helpful in every way. Nice marina tenants also.
Fabulous. David and his team were terrific; facilities perfect, and a great location. We hope to return next summer. Marlene
Dockmaster David does an exceptional job of getting transient members in with short notice.
Sept 8, 2022. Our second stay this summer as we enjoyed the first one so well. Thanks again. August, 2022. Quiet, small, friendly and clean. Perfect for our nights stay. Hope to see you on our return. Thank you.
Accommodations were fine; they can only take two boats at most.
