Honestly, this is an amazing experience. You have to go up the Mystic River and go under 2 bridges but honestly, to have access to Mystic Seaport during the days. At night, you are free to explore the museum. Their bathroom/shower/laundry facilities, which are for the marina guests (not museum guests) are exceptional, complete with a reading room. This is the best deal going and my best advise is to book 2 nights so that you can enjoy the full experience.
