Docks are all floating with good fuel, water and power for larger boats. Services are very good and Eric the Dockmaster is extremely helpful and accomodating.
It should be noted, commercial and pleasure boats will run at speed through the harbor and significant wakes are a constant event. If you can get a berth inside the marina wave attenuating walls it is no issue. If you lie on the north side superyacht docks it can get quite turbulent the closer to the outside T dock. A north or northeast wind can also make these docks quite rough.
If you consider laying on the outside of the superyacht T dock then you might want to be above 1,000 GT otherwise it will be uncomfortable at best.
All in all, a great marina and location to downtown Portland and all its great restaurants and bars. A very good crew layover marina. We stayed an extra week because the crew was very happy at Fore Points. The boss also enjoyed the walking trails and down town.
