A couple have taken over this marina on this charming remote island and have done a fantastic job upgrading it with new docks and 6 slips. They have added an air conditioned lounge with 2 toilets/showers, only one of which is finished at the moment. Thy also have a shed with snack foods and ice for sale on the honor system. There is a cash box and Venmo symbols for payment. If you arrive after 4 PM, all restaurants are closed, but the owner did a heroic job contacting an informal network of those who will cook for boats and we had a great crab cake dinner with all the fixings! 30 and 50 amp power is available. We needed more distilled water for our battery and the owner got us some from a neighbor - there are a lot of golf carts on the island for transportation and locals make their own distilled water! One problem is draft in the slip. We arrive at low tide and our 35' boat with a 4.5' full keel could only get 1/2 way into slip. Owner cheerfully gave us an extension cord to reach their power outlet and assured us if was OK to stick out - but probably would be a problem in a storm. Hope the boating community helps them get the dredging permits that prevents solving this problem and bringing more boaters to the economically challenged island.
