Grand Banks 42 Classic …stayed 3 nights, one planned and two more waiting out some weather. Our host, Billy Pipkin couldn’t have been a friendlier, nicer guy to deal with. We came in on one engine with the port side overheating. Billy came down right away to look at and gave great advice on the possible issues. Very, very knowledgeable. He called a couple of his contacts and discussed all issues in detail with them. He even gave us other places to have it checked out if needed. He’s a truly gracious guy and simply looks to help in any way. Even offered to do some shopping for us if we needed anything on his way back from church. The marina is basic itself (a nice hurricane hole with all sides protected) but nice and quiet and in a quaint and pretty setting. Quiet, quiet….quiet. Billy checked in on us every day to see if we needed anything. Would go back in a heartbeat. Thanks Billy!
