Ingram Bay Marina is the closest marina and hurricane hole to the Chesapeake Bay. Voted BEST of the BAY by Chesapeake Bay Magazine and RIVAH Magazine, powerboats and sailboats alike are at home here.
In addition to our 1st Class - Covered boathouse slips and Outside slips that offer views of the Bay, we offer many other services and amenities to our boaters such as fishing charters, boat & kayak rentals, land storage, pump out, fuel, and a ship store.
This is a family owned and operated marina, with a charter fishing service and rental cabins. We have been blessed to live here since 1985. It’s, quite simply, our life, and a good life it is. We love our little corner of the world that allows us to live and work and play on our beloved Chesapeake Bay and feel privileged to be able to share it with you.
Whether it’s your home away from home or your vacation getaway, this is the perfect place for the action packed vacation. Situated near Reedville, right on the Chesapeake Bay and the Inter-Coastal Waterway puts you right on top of the very best fishing and sailing in the region.
Bring your jet ski, small water craft and use our deep water ramp. Book a fishing charter or dinner cruise (on site) to fine waterfront dining. Witness glorious sunrises and restful sunsets. Sparkling fields of fireflies at twilight. The sounds of the sea birds. Or just relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of this lovely place not yet discovered by most of the world. Come check us out for a weekend ……. Or a lifetime.
Stayed here many times. Great marina, really nice people. Easy in/out stopover transiting the bay
The staff and co-owners here were incredibly accommodating of our short notice early arrival and extended stay, both of which were brought on by rough weather. This is a lovely, remote spot.
Small, welcoming family operated marina in a quiet cove. Very nice and clean, well maintained
Beautiful & peaceful Marina. Super helpful owners. Clean, well-presented bathroom/shower facilities. good dockage, no currents nor winds. Completely shielded from bay. Nice little ship/tackle shop. Somewhat shallow, but we didn’t bump at low tide, with 3.8’ draft. I’d go back.
Nice and quiet. Staff and owners are friendly and helpful
The marina is located in a beautiful spot, quiet, clean and well maintained. After a sporty trip sailing from Deltaville, it was the perfect place to relax. The owners could not have been more welcoming and gracious. We will be back.
Very simple but quiet & extremely clean. Owners, Billy & Mary were very kind. Will be back. TY
Easy approach with a well marked channel. Met at fuel dock by owner, Captain Billy. Captain Billy is a textbook of local knowledge and very welcoming. This was our second visit and we'll be back again. Perfect spot to wind down after a long day on the Bay. Very peaceful. Thanks again for the discount for fuel quantity.
My brother, Kevin, reports that Billy was very helpful & very nice. Speaking with Billy myself on the phone to arrange Kevin's arrival, I could hear his southern hospitality & caring nature coming through as we talked about helping Kevin out. Billy is definitely an excellant ambassador for his marina and went out of his way to help with arrival specifics and tide coordination. Kevin reports that the facilities were very nice and over all, he had a very pleasant stay. Ingram Bay Marina is definitely a marina to put on your list to stop at, should you have the occasion. Been traveling for 10 days this place is the best we have stayed at. Easy access well marked. Quiet little cove. Owners are great friendly will do anything for you. Would recommend highly for an overnight or a few of days away from it all. This is our 3rd time stopping here and will make it a guaranteed stop every time I am in the area. Capt Billy treats you like family and will do everything to help. Always fresh fuel and easy to fuel and pump out highly recommend if your in the area 5 stars +\n
What a beautiful place to dock. The facilities were clean, well stocked and pleasant. The owners could not have been kinder. It was a totally enjoyable stay.
Small place, limited number of transient slips, but everything we needed for an overnight stop. Water depth of 6-7 ft. 30A power, showers, fuel, pumpout, and good wifi.
One of the nicest small marinas to stop at. Crab pot dodging is a task on the way in during seasons, skinny channel to navigate, so paying attention is necessary for entry and exit. Billy’’s local knowledge is invaluable and the small atmosphere is wonderful for those who like that. Good small draft/boat spot.
We stayed at Ingram Bay Marina during the recent nor’easter. Park like setting, protected cove and great location close to Chesapeake Bay. Owner, Captain Billy was very responsive to our needs including using a courtesy car, just in time weather briefings, and just overall all warm hospitality. Definitely recommend. Especially to shelter from weather. Very peaceful and close to small towns such as Kilmarnock.
owner was very helpful. Bathhouse was clean and well stocked if you forgot something.
What good fortune we had in finding this marina. Bill was welcoming and helpful. It’s nice to meet a person who knows boating as well as he does. And he was very accommodating to our every need. This marina is tucked in an amazingly protected little cove! We sat out gale force winds here and hardly felt a thing. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.
Wonderful spot off the Chesapeake. Thanks to Billy and Mary. We made use of their courtesy car so we could visit Kilmarnock. Spotless bath house. Great, peaceful, scenic stay. Tris Green Eyes
I made our reservation far in advance of our stay, and as it turns out we could not have been more fortunate. The day we arrived a gale warning was posted for the next day. I don't know that you could find a better marina to wait out a storm like this. The entrance to the little Bay is very narrow (but with plenty of depth) so once inside it's like a millpond even though quite literally a gale is blowing all around you. Capt Billy was a great host and ready to help in any way we might need. He has a loaner car, something which is getting pretty rare these days it seems, which we gratefully used to drive to Kilmarnock for some provisions. The facilities in the marina are basic but clean and functional. We will definitely be back when the opportunity arises.
Very protected. Charts don't depict true depths. Never saw less than 8 feet following the channel. Dock hand, Elijah, was helpful and pleasant. Slow fuel pump but best diesel price in the area. Old fashioned family owned marina. Very quiet overnight.
Marina itself was excellent. Approach buoy was missing a red sign though which almost caused us to hit shoal water. No mention of it when we spoke to the office before coming in and no indication that there were plans to fix it when it almost happened. Be very careful entering and exiting this one. Also, one approach leg points directly into the PM sun and the pylons were virtually invisible for a good bit of it so find it early and bring strong sunglasses.
Great place to hide out weather, clean well run facility, friendly folks.
Small marina run by caring folks. Spotless restroom/shower. Quiet.
This is a very basic marina, and delivers exactly what is necessary. They did not respond to phone or VHF, but were helpful once we arrived. This is also the least expensive marina we've been at on the Bay. A great value if you don't need frills.
We loved our stay at Ingram Bay Marina. It is a great hurricane hole offering gas, bathrooms, pump out, courtesy car and a fun atmosphere!
Nice location and stay but internet wasn’t working. :(
Great family run Marina! Nothing fancy, but but super well protected, clean facilities, fuel, water, pumpout and great people! Will definitely stay here again on our way north in the spring.
Small family owned marina in quiet, remote location. No frills
