Stayed two nights in a slip in late June. The marina was quiet on Thursday and half full Friday. Due to a small craft advisory we got a refund for the third night we had planned on staying. There was plenty of staff and the place was clean with all amenities available. They still have grills that are now located behind the cafe. We did not see or use them. Bathrooms by the bar on the peer were still icky. Bathrooms on shore were fine, regularly checked and mopped. Bathrooms/showers by the pool were very good and clean. Mudslides were best in class. Breakfast at cafe excellent. Gifford’s ice cream served at the sweet shop, excellent. Did not try Blockamole or the restaurant by the pool. It still has a lot of the character of the old Champlin’s, but it is a lot cleaner and nicer. Games available to play near the sweet shop - even saw a staff member keeping that area clean and encouraging the kids playing. Not sure how long that will last as the season wears on - it is hard to staff and motivate!
